5) B.J. Hill – DE

Hill should be one of the beneficiaries of the NY Giants allowing Dalvin Tomlinson to walk via free agency, and sign with the Minnesota Vikings, earlier this spring.

Chosen three picks after Carter, in the third-round of the 2018 NFL Draft, Hill has been a rotational player along the NY Giants’ defensive line since Leonard Williams’ arrival in a 2019 trade with the New York Jets.

Hill produced a career-high 5.5 sacks as a rookie, but has just one apiece the past two seasons.

It might wind up being an uphill climb for Hill to make the roster out of training camp, and he’ll likely be competing with free agent pickup Ifeady Odenigbo. Even if Hill makes the team, this should serve as an audition for his possible return to the NY Giants, as well as for any interested team looking for defensive end help in 2022.
