#12. Andy Dalton/Justin Fields, Chicago Bears

No matter who starts this game for Chicago, it will be a tough position for either quarterback.

The Giants won’t see the Bears until Week 17. That’s a LONG time away and who knows whether Dalton or Justin Fields will be under center.  The truth is it really shouldn’t matter for the NY Giants.

The NY Giants took down Andy Dalton last year in his Week 17 start in MetLife. Dalton beat the Giants in Week 5, coming off the bench due to Dak Prescott’s broken ankle. The 10-year vet is who he is at this point. He’s never won a playoff game and he shouldn’t be a guy to lose sleep over.

Justin Fields is the wild card here.

The Bears obviously got him thanks to the trade with the Giants themselves. Few, if any 1st Round rookie quarterbacks haven’t seen the field in their first season by Week 14. Fields adds a running dynamic that Dalton lacks along with an overall much different playing style and a youthfulness that is contagious.

Expect Fields under center come Week 17.
