Right guard

Zach Fulton, Jonotthan Harrison

Despite spending $238.9 million this offseason, fourth most in the NFL, the NY Giants made minimal commitment to improving the offensive line, signing Fulton and Harrison to a pair of one-year deals worth just $1.2 million each.

Fulton allowed 11 sacks in a disappointing 2020 season for the Houston Texans, and produced a 63 overall grade from Pro Football Focus. The NY Giants’ minimal financial commitment to Fulton would make it seem as though he’s earmarked to be a backup, but depending on what happens at left guard, the 29-year-old could get the bulk of first-team practice snaps and wind up winning the job on the right side.

Meanwhile, Harrison is likely earmarked to be Nick Gates’ backup at center, and provide some depth along all three interior spots.

Prediction: There is always a chance the NY Giants start Hernandez at left guard, and Shane Lemieux at right, but in all likelihood this is Fulton’s job to lose.
