Peart appears primed to emerge as a starter along the NY Giants’ offensive line, when Week 1 of his second NFL season begins this September.

As a rookie, Peart allowed just two sacks and nine total pressures, despite rotating in at both offensive tackle positions in 140 snaps and even taking the field as a blocking tight end for 10 snaps.

Settling in as the right tackle should help Peart take a big step forward in his second NFL season, especially given how high the coaching staff was on him in 2020. Last season, Peart produced a 69.7 overall grade from Pro Football Focus, highlighted by his stalwart 81.7 run-blocking mark.

The NY Giants are banking on Peart becoming a bookend to Andrew Thomas, and he would certainly reach that status with a breakout second campaign.
