Jacksonville Jaguars corner back D.J. Hayden ( Mandatory Credit: Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports) /

D.J. Hayden

Hayden is primarily a slot cornerback, but has the versatility and frame to play outside, and the kind of experience that could bring value to the NY Giants’ secondary.

Hayden has 328 career tackles and four interceptions.

With 91 career starts, but held to only five last season after suffering a season-ending knee injury last October, Hayden could be an interesting signing. Especially given the fact that NY Giants defensive coordinator Patrick Graham frequently deploys three safety sets and Hayden has the ability to line up outside or from the slot.
