NY Giants Roster: Cuts They’ll Regret Making
The NY Giants’ Offensive Line Looks Much Different than Last Week.
The NY Giants have somewhat revamped their offensive line in the last week. It has seemingly happened on the fly, thanks to two trades in the past week. The Giants got younger and arguably better on the interior line.
New York added Billy Price from the Bengals, a former 2018 1st round pick. They then followed up by trading for the Ravens’ Ben Bredeson, a 2020 4th round pick and All-American from Michigan. The two moves should help with the depth at guard and center. The Giants need help with the pending news of Shane Lemieux’s torn patellar tendon. Bredeson could end up starting right away if Lemieux isn’t ready to go.
As the two aforementioned players join the NY Giants, they will be accompanied by Nate Solder as the lone backups of the starting unit. The Giants ended up waiving Jonotthan Harrison, Chad Slade, Jackson Barton, Ted Larsen, Brett Heggie, and Kenny Wiggins. They could still sign one or two to the practice squad along with adding more linemen to the roster who were just also cut from other teams.
