The NY Giants 2021 season has finally arrived, beginning with a loaded Denver Broncos team arriving in MetLife Stadium Sunday afternoon

The NY Giants begin the 2021 season loaded with questions, and staring across the sideline at a loaded Denver Broncos team, with enough talent to expose New York’s flaws Week 1.

How productive will running back Saquon Barkley be?

Can the NY Giants’ patchwork offensive line hold up against the likes of Von Miller and Bradley Chubb?

Will a rebuilt secondary, arguably one of the NFL’s best featuring Adoree’ Jackson and James Bradberry be able to contain Courtland Sutton, K.J. Hamler, and Jerry Jeudy?

Here are four bold predictions for NY Giants vs. Denver Broncos in NFL Week 1:

NY Giants bold prediction No. 1: Von Miller sacks Daniel Jones three times

The NY Giants’ offensive line is a mess. There’s no getting around it.

There also are few tests that will be more daunting in Week 1, than facing a Broncos front-seven that includes future Hall of Famer Von Miller and All-Pro caliber edge rusher Bradley Chubb.

Between them, the NY Giants’ starting offensive tackles; Nate Solder and Andrew Thomas allowed a combined 21 sacks in their most recent seasons.

Wednesday, NY Giants head coach Joe Judge acknowledged the impact Miller can have on an offense.

“These are maybe two of the best edge rushers in the game,” Judge said. “Von’s a tough competitor. It’s a great challenge. This guy’s a different-level player … This guy’s a rare player, he’s a unicorn of an edge rusher. He’s explosive, athletic, instinctive. He can ruin your day in a heartbeat.”

Miller returns, after missing last season with a dislocated tended in his ankle, aiming to return to form following an eight-sack campaign in 2019.

There’s a chance, against this offensive line, that Miller will pick up three sacks against Jones.
