NY Giants DB Xavier McKinney:

Xavier McKinney had undoubtedly the best game of his young career.

Tallying  seven total tackles, two interceptions, which included one that he took back for a touchdown to start the second half, and 2 passes deflected, Sunday was McKinney‘s signature performance.

Entering the third quarter, the NY Giants were down 13-10 with their offense struggling. the Raiders received the ball to start the half, but, on a 3rd and 7 play Derek Carr threw an out route that was intended to Hunter Renfrow when all of a sudden McKinney rose up, cut the route off, and took it back for a touchdown to bring the NY Giants up 17-13.

McKinney’s second interceptions came with 5:19 left in the 4th quarter with the NY Giants up 20-16. Carr threw a deep ball that was intended to Zay Jones when McKinney came over from his zone and cut the route off for an easy interception.

McKinney was without a doubt a game-changer for the NY Giants this week. Without him we do not win this game and I don’t think there is much to doubt about that.

If McKinney can keep this level of play up, there is no doubt he will be a future star in this league.
