#1 Most Winnable Game: Week 17 @ Chicago

New York vs Chicago, a tale of two tough cities.

For the NY Giants, it’s another matchup with an old rival and a familiar opponent.

The Giants have actually played the Bears three seasons in a row now. They’ve lost two of those matchups and won their 4th last one back in 2016.

This game will be a revenge game for Saquon Barkley.

This is the same place he tore his ACL last season and it will be fresh in the back of his mind. The devastating injury put an abrupt ending to Saquon’s 2020 season and required multiple surgeries and rigorous rehab.

Barkley shined against the Bears as a rookie in a 30-27 Giants win. Barkley had 146 all-purpose yards with 125 on the ground and a ridiculous hurdle after a catch along with numerous other jaw-dropping plays. Saquon sealed the deal in overtime with a huge run to set up the game-ending field goal.

Lastly, the Giants and Bears made one of the big moves in Round 1 of the 2021 NFL Draft. They swapped #11 and #20 overall for a 2022 1st rounder, 2022 4th rounder, and a 2021 5th rounder. The Giants need the Bears to lose as many games as possible to keep their existing pick in the top 10. Daniel Jones needs to come out and play his best ball late in the season to give the Giants a shot at the playoffs and to beat a rookie QB in Justin Fields.
