The NY Giants’ lackluster effort resulted in a loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday afternoon

After an embarrassing  loss to the Miami Dolphins, the NY Giants fall to 4-8 on the season seemingly having no direction.

In a game in which the NY Giants could not even manage score a TD, it is becoming more and more clear that the offense needs to be re-vamped through the draft and free agency this off season.

The NY Giants came into this game facing a multitude of injuries and it showed. With backup QB Mike Glennon struggling mightily, alongside poor play from the receiving core with both Kadarius Toney and Sterling Shepard being out.

Here are player grades, the NY Giants’ MVP from Sunday’s loss to the Dolphins:

Mike Glennon: F

Mike Glennon is possibly one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL.

Throughout the entire game, Glennon struggled to make even the simplest of passes. Completing only 23 of his 44 passes for 187 yards and 1 interception.

Glennon’s interception came in the 1st quarter with 2:52 remaining on the Dolphins 48 yard line. Mike Glennon faked the run on a play-action pass, stepped up and threw a horrific ball deep into double coverage. The pass was then easily intercepted by Xavien Howard.

Glennon also struggled to complete even the easiest of passes throughout the game. Like this easy throw to John Ross:

Plain and simple, Mike Glennon cannot start anymore games for the NY Giants. That is likely, however, as Glennon was just diagnosed with a concussion following an evaluation after the game.

If Daniel Jones misses next week as well, we will likely see Jake Fromm talk the helm at QB. This could be interesting as Fromm is a young, unproven QB. If he can play well things could get interesting for the NY Giants.
