Candidate #2: Buffalo Bills Offensive Coordinator Brian Daboll.

Brian Daboll would be an intriguing option for the NY Giants.

Daboll has led the Bills’ offense the past four years with great success. Daboll has been heavily praised for his coaching and overall development of Josh Allen and his rise to stardom.

Daboll is a similar candidate to who else but Joe Judge. Daboll worked in Alabama, just for one season as the Offensive Coordinator and QB Coach, but won the CFP National Championship. Daboll was hired by Saban who went right to Tuscaloosa from Foxborough in New England. Daboll was a coach on Belichick’s staff for four seasons from 2013-2016. He also worked for the Pats in the early 2000s, coinciding with 5 of the team’s 6 Super Bowls during that span.

Daboll would be a good candidate to help fix a broken offense. He completed that task in Buffalo and turned them into an AFC contender who seems set up well to compete for the next few seasons. There have been murmurs that the Bills may move on from Daboll due to a potential falling out with HC Doug McDermott. If so, the NY Giants should look to swoop in and pry Daboll to move from Buffalo to East Rutherford.
