David Ojabo, Edge Michicagn

Michigan edge rusher David Ojabo looks to be one of the most intriguing prospects in the entire draft. The one-year starter at Michigan improved his draft stock more than almost anyone in this year’s class besides his teammate Aiden Hutchinson.

After playing just 26 snaps the year prior, Ojabo took off in his final season at Michigan. He played in 534 snaps where he recorded 11 sacks and three tackles for loss.

While Ojabo proved to be one of the most elite pass rushers in college football, his run defense was not nearly at the same level. But as noted, Ojabo has just one real season of high-level football under his belt.

The potential for Ojabo to develop into an elite edge rusher at the next level is very real. The glimpses seen in college should only excite people for what he could potentially do at the next level.

While he may struggle if his array of pass moves don’t work with the more talented tackles in the NFL, Ojabo has shown that he can adjust and make it work. Paring him across from Azeez Ojulari could make this an interesting duo, especially if the Giants could potentially trade down and get Ojabo later in the first round.
