Las Vegas oddsmakers have installed the New York Giants as significant longshots to win the NFC East Division in 2022

As one would expect, Las Vegas’ expectations for the New York Giants this season are woefully low.

Despite a new general manager in Joe Schoen, new head coach in Brian Daboll, and the opportunity to add blue-chip talent to the roster via a pair of top-10 picks in the NFL Draft later this month, the Giants are the longest of longshots to win the NFC East, according to WynnBET.

Here are the current NFL futures odds on the New York Giants’ chances of winning the division for the first time since 2011:

Dallas Cowboys: -110

Philadelphia Eagles +190

Washington Commanders +425

New York Giants +600

There’s little reason to expect the New York Giants to compete this season.

Especially because it would seem on the surface that the organization is finally taking a patient approach to an overdue rebuild.

The roster remains woefully inadequate at key positions, and it would seem that Schoen and the Giants front office’s goals this offseason were to just get through one of the worst salary cap situations in the league this year in order to allow the franchise to spend in coming years.

But, much of the New York Giants’ success in 2022, and beyond, will hinge on Daniel Jones taking the kind of leap the organization hopes he’s capable of during what will be his fourth NFL season.
