NY Giants agree to terms with Kayvon Thibodeaux and Evan Neal
From the moment the Giants released James Bradberry, creating more than $10 million in cap space, general manger Joe Schoen went to work to try and finalize the contracts with both of his first-round picks. People had been waiting to see when things would get done, as more and more first-rounders were being announced to have signed.
Luckily, there were no issues with either player for the Giants and they can now put their contract worries behind them. Moving forward, both Thibodeaux and Neal will solely be focused on making plays in the trenches for head coach Brian Daboll. Both players look they really couldn’t be happier to be with the Giants right now.
After the first day of rookie minicamp, Thibodeaux admitted he was on the verge of tears. This all means the world to him and he’s jacked up that his dreams are coming true. Neal is also excited, as he was showcasing some amazing athleticism during the first session. The NY faithful can’t wait to see what they can do in 2022, with things starting in Week 1 against the Titans.
Thibodueax will be set to try and record some sacks from the start, while Neal’s job will be to protect Daniel Jones and make sure no one gets a hand on him. The futures are incredibly bright for both of these guys and they can now smile knowing their major paydays have arrived for them as well.
