Fans of the NY Giants are still ecstatic about walking out of the 2022 NFL Draft’s first round with both Kayvon Thibodeaux and Evan Neal. These were two players considered by some analysts to be the two best players in the draft, and they both fell into the lap of the Giants at No. 5 and No. 7. New York has two franchise cornerstone players to rebuild around.

Thibodeaux and Neal will be forever linked to each other for the rest of their NFL careers if they pan out to be superstars at their respected positions. Automatically, this becomes a blockbuster battle to watch in training camp as well, as the two will be trying to come out of top of one another in the trenches on countless occasions.

NY Giants training camp will feature Kayvon Thibodeaux turning heads

Don’t forget about the rest of the offensive line trying to contain Thibodeaux, with the list of course including star left tackle Andrew Thomas. Adding Thomas into the mix in this discussion means you’ve really got an exciting showdowns coming between Thibodeaux and the hosses up front here.

If Neal and Thomas are able to keep Daniel Jones standing up straight on a consistent basis this year, then fans are going to be excited to see the signal-caller’s make it or break it year. Equally, if Thibodeaux turns up the pressure and records some QB hits and sacks, then fans are going to be excited to see other defensive studs up front like Dexter Lawrence and Leonard Williams do their thing as well. Don’t forget about Azeez Ojulari flying into the backfield too.

With all of that said, there are no losers here in this situation. When looking at Thibodeaux, Neal and Thomas in particular, all three players are going to demand the very best from each other. You could see the chemistry instantly after the draft between Thibodeaux and Neal and that positivity will spread throughout the team, and will only result in a better on-field product for the Giants in 2022. Things sure are looking bright for this season, and the future.
