1. Brian Daboll won’t shy away from using each playmaker

Daboll turned plenty of heads this week when he said that all healthy players will be suiting up vs. the Patriots. Normally in the first preseason matchup, the star players are typically watching from the sideline. Not this time around. Daboll clearly wants to see some of big-name guys execute against New England’s studs.

With this, plenty of eyes will of course be on Daniel Jones. How much time will he see in this one? That’s up in the air, but the fact of the matter is that Jones is going to have to take advantage of his time on the gridiron. He’s struggled in recent practices, which has been a major disappointment. Look for Tyrod Taylor to see plenty of snaps in this one as well.

Other players to keep a close eye on include Saquon Barkley, Kadarius Toney, Kenny Golladay, Darnay Holmes and more. In terms of the offense, Toney and Golladay are going to have to operate at a high clip in order to help Jones. Those two have also battled some up and downs during camp, and that needs to be corrected against the Patriots. Will they deliver? We’ll find out soon enough, as Daboll will surely be counting on them.
