2. WR David Sills
David Sills has become a well-known player within this Giants team. He has spent much of his career on the practice squad, but has still managed to make a name for himself. That’s why him making the 53-man roster was so great and special to see.
The duo of Sills and quarterback Daniel Jones has become an offseason staple. The two have worked together closely for years, and this was seen on the field during the preseason.
After missing the team’s first preseason game due to injury, Sills appeared sparingly in the final two games. He recorded just six receptions for 57 total yards.
With a potential Darius Slayton trade on the horizon and injuries to several other receivers, the Giants could depend on Sills more than anticipated. The fact of the matter here is that Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen believe in the wideout. It goes without saying, but Jones has confidence in him as well.
