Week 3 was not kind to Daniel Jones and the New York Giants. The team suffered their first loss of the season, a 23-16 defeat to the Dallas Cowboys.

Along with this loss, the Giants offense lost one of their key playmakers for the rest of the campaign. Veteran wide receiver Sterling Shepard went down with a torn ACL, ending his season early yet again. Unfortunately for Shepard, this is the fourth season in a row where he won’t be available for every game.

Now, it’s back to the drawing board for general manager Joe Schoen, as he needs to go out and find some wide receiver help for Jones and the rest of the offense. Here are four wideouts the NY Giants should take a look at to help Wan’Dale Robinson, Kadarius Toney, Kenny Golladay and more.

4. Adam Humphries

Rising to prominence with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Adam Humrphries has been a reliable pass-catching option for the past few years. Humphries spent the 2021 season with the then Washington Football Team. He appeared in all 17 games, recording 41 receptions for 383 receiving yards.

The 29-year-old pass-catcher has been in the NFL since 2015. He has appeared in 96 games, including 32 career starts. When on the field, he has recorded 320 receptions for 3,314 receiving yards and 13 total touchdowns.

While Humphries doesn’t bring elite-level talent to the table, he could be a veteran force in the locker room. With no Shepard as a security blanket, he could also become a reliable check-down option for this Giants team. With the offensive line playing so poorly, a guy like Humphries really could help out Danny Dimes.
