2. The NY Giants WRs have a big game
While Kadarius Toney and Wan’Dale Robinson have been ruled out, Richie James, Kenny Golladay, Darius Slayton and David Sills will certainly get their opportunities to produce.
Those four wideouts have combined for just 225 receiving yards in three games, but they have a pretty enticing matchup on Sunday. Chicago rookie Kyler Gordon has been the worst cornerback in passing situations this season, and the Giants will look to exploit that.
Golladay is going to get significant playing time with all of the Giants mounting wide receiver injuries, and with a favorable matchup, this could be the week he busts out. James has been the Giants best receiver in 2022, and with Sterling Shepard’s injury, Jones will look to him often.
The Giants will feed Golladay, James, and Darius Slayton too, and this will be the week the WRs have a contest to remember. With Golladay specifically, it feels like it’s now or never for him to look good for the G-Men. People are still talking about his embarrassing drop in the loss to Dallas. It’s time for him to make fans forget about that.
