3. OG Mark Glowinski

After signing former Colts guard Mark Glowinski to a three year, $18.3 million deal this offseason, it seemed as if the NY Giants finally got themselves a much needed upgrade at the position. However, throughout the first three weeks of the season, Glowinski’s level of play has been quite lackluster.

According to PFF, Glowinski has a player grade of 53.3, also allowing a sack in the process. Compared to how he played last season, this is completely unacceptable.

While Glowinski has certainly had moments where he has looked very solid, for the most part his play has been poor. Especially in the NY Giants last game against the Dallas Cowboys, where Glowinski embarrassed himself.

The NY Giants have a history of signing very disappointing offensive linemen through free agency. Hopefully Glowinski doesn’t join the list, however, throughout three games he has yet to give us any reason not to believe it.

Entering the NY Giants Week 4 matchup against the Bears, Glowinski has his best opportunity yet to show he can make a bigger impact than he has thus far. Let’s see how he does.
