It’s hard to find a quarterback these days who gets less love than NY Giants signal-caller Daniel Jones. The former No. 6 overall pick has been labeled a bust for years, but hey, it’s hard to make things happen when you don’t have the right pieces around you. That might have to be a conversation for another time.

When it comes to quarterback rankings, though, Jones is used to getting almost no love. In a recent NFL.com QB article, they had Jones at No. 24. Ahead of him, the list includes Geno Smith and Marcus Mariota. Seriously? While we won’t sit here and argue that Jones should be in the Top 10, No. 24 just doesn’t make sense.

NY Giants QB Daniel Jones continues to get no respect

Scrolling the internet, you’ll see Jones at No. 24 and No. 25 in other rankings. How in the world can everyone be in agreement on this? Jones is constantly having to run for his life thanks to an embarrassing offensive line. Andrew Thomas has been sensational for the Giants, playing at an All-Pro level.

Outside of that, though, the guys up front have looked horrendous, with rookie right tackle Evan Neal struggling in a big way. He looked lost against the Cowboys in Week 3, giving up three sacks. He needs to wake up.

As for Jones, his healthy wideouts have been hard to find. Kadarius Toney is out again this weekend, while Sterling Shepard tore his ACL vs. Dallas. Will this be the weekend that Kenny Golladay finally makes some noise? Who the hell knows.

Jones had one of his best games in a while against the Cowboys, but that’s lost because of the late-game interception. That wasn’t his fault, however, as wideout David Sills tripped over his own damn feet and wasn’t there to make a play for his QB. T

revon Diggs was there to make the interception, which was rough to see. Jones will look to silence his haters the rest of the season and he has a great opportunity this weekend vs. Chicago. We think a big performance is coming for the one and only Danny Dimes.
