Color us shocked, just absolutely shocked. After only being able to suit up for two games for the NY Giants this season due to a hamstring injury, Kadarius Toney magically has returned to full health now that he’s with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Toney, last year’s first-round pick for the G-Men, was traded to the Chiefs last month in exchange for a third-round and sixth-round pick. Toney had been sidelined for a while with his bum hamstring, but he hinted on Twitter that he’s been just fine for a little while.

Now that he’s no longer in East Rutherford, it looks like that hammy is good to go and he’s all set to make plays for Patrick Mahomes. Goodness.

Former NY Giants WR Kadarius Toney is ready to make noise for the Chiefs

With the Chiefs all set to take on the Tennessee Titans in Week 9 for Sunday Night Football, Toney is going to want to showcase his wheels with the entire country watching. Giants head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen will be able to watch this one too, as the G-Men, 6-2 on the year, are on a bye.

From the moment Toney was traded to the AFC powerhouse, Giants fans have been left wondering what could have been for the speedster with the squad. Unfortunately for Toney, his time with the Giants was filled with drama, and he even took a parting shot at the team on his way out of town.

This season with the Giants, Toney posted two receptions for zero yards. The NY supporters had grown increasingly frustrated with him, and now the anger has reached a new level thanks to his health status. No one is wishing this guy harm, but the fact that he’s now ready to put the pads on and compete is a slap in the face to the Giants fanbase.
