4 bold predictions for the NY Giants vs. Lions showdown
By Zak Musso
3. Kenny Golladay will be a no-show
Kenny Golladay spent the first four years of his career with this weekend’s opponent, the Detroit Lions. From 2017-2020, Golladay hauled in 183 passes for 3,068 yards and 21 touchdowns.
That doesn’t even seem like the same guy the Giants signed. In two years with the Giants, Golladay has been painfully overpaid and quite frankly horrible, catching just 39 passes for 543 yards and zero touchdowns.
Golladay returned from injury last week, but after halftime, it was determined Golladay would not play in the second half. Instead of playing their $72 million receiver, the Giants opted to play recently claimed wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins instead.
Things just haven’t gone well for Golladay and the fact that he was limited in practice on Wednesday is a concern. At this point, no one knows if he’ll even play against the Lions. Call this a bold prediction – we’re not expecting him to suit up in Week 11.
