2. RBs D’Andre Swift & Jamaal Williams

The Lions running back duo of D’Andre Swift and Jamaal Williams has been dominant at times this season. The Giants defensive front, while elite at times, will be tasked with slowing them down and that won’t be easy.

With Swift dealing with injuries this season, Williams has looked like the lead back at times. He has appeared in all nine games in 2022, recording 142 total rushing attempts. This has led to 604 rushing yards and nine touchdowns.

When healthy, Swift has made an impact on this offense. On just 40 total carries, he has rushed for 253 yards and two touchdowns. His average yards per carry is 6.3 yards.

Through the air, Swift has played a much bigger role than Williams. Swift has been targeted 24 times, resulting in 17 receptions for 150 yards and two touchdowns. He is averaging 8.8 yards per reception. Williams has been targeted just 12 times, recording nine receptions for 57 receiving yards.

The Giants interior duo of Dexter Lawrence and Leonard Williams has been elite this season. They have managed to limit even the best running backs when they are on the field together, but injuries have limited this group. We’ll see how things go on Sunday.
