4 reasons the NY Giants will beat the Lions and improve to 8-2
3. A potential Kenny Golladay revenge game that could turn things around
Take this with a grain of salt, as we really doubt that Golladay gets many snaps against the Lions after his meltdown performance in Week 10. However, if there is ever chance for Golladay to turn things around and save his seemingly lost season, it is this week, against his former team.
If Golladay wants to show his loyalty to this NY Giants franchise, he must at least do something this week, literally anything will be better than what we have seen out of him so far this season. Talent like what Golladay had in Detroit is something that very rarely disappears, hence why many fans have been so critical of the former Pro-Bowler, because it really seems as if he just doesn’t want to be in New York anymore.
Regardless, Joe Schoen has the option to release Golladay in the offseason and save around $6.7 million in cap space. Considering the moves we have seen Schoen make in the past to clear up cap space, this one seems like a no-brainer.
This could all change if Golladay has a big performance and saves his second half of the season. This feels doubtful, though, but you never know what might happen. If Golladay wants a chance at coming back, his revenge tour must start vs. Detroit.
