Odell Beckham Jr. would be foolish to choose the Cowboys over the NY Giants

2.  The chance to be the No. 1 wide receiver for the Giants

At this point in his career, Beckham will not pass CeeDee Lamb as Dak Prescott’s top target in Dallas. However, the former Giants star has a chance to regain his status as the No. 1 target in New York. That wouldn’t be too hard for him.

To say the Giants need a wide receiver is an understatement. Now, after the knee injury suffered by rookie pass catcher Wan’Dale Robinson, Beckham is even more enticing for New York to go out and ink.

Daniel Jones can’t lead the Giants to the promise land without a top target, and he simply doesn’t have one right now. Kenny Golladay isn’t the guy Dave Gettleman thought he would be, Richie James can’t even return punts without dropping the ball and while Darius Slayton is enjoying a nice resurgence, he’s not a No. 1 wide receiver.

Adding Beckham to the mix could completely change the Giants passing offense, and give him the sizable role he’s looking for in a scheme. It feels like this truly could be a win-win both for Big Blue and OBJ.
