NY Giants rule out 7 players for showdown with Dallas
The injuries have kept on piling up for the NY Giants this season. Heading into the matchup with the Dallas Cowboys, things have only gotten worse. Leading up to the Thanksgiving Day battle, the Giants have ruled out seven players for Week 12.
The list is rough, with tight end Daniel Bellinger, cornerback Adoree’ Jackson, cornerback Fabian Moreau, right tackle Evan Neal, guard Shane Lemieux, guard Josh Ezeudu and center Jon Feliciano all missing this one. That’s only going to complicate life for offensive coordinator Mike Kafka and defensive coordinator Wink Martindale.
NY Giants have 7 players ruled out to face the Cowboys on Thanksgiving
The Cowboys are 10-point favorites going up against the Giants. After the rough showing vs. the Lions last weekend, not many people out there are feeling overly optimistic about this team’s chances to come away with an upset win.
However, how many times have we seen the Giants shock the world thus far in 2022? Things started with a bang against the Titans and you never know, another stunner could be coming on Thanksgiving.
It will obviously be on Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley to get things rocking on offense. However, with four offensive linemen ruled out, the uphill climb to outscore the Cowboys just got even tougher for Kafka and the entire offensive unit.
We’ll see what Martindale is able to draw up defensively, but not having Jackson and Moreau is also going to hurt the secondary. This team really is going to have its hands full going up against Dallas with so many bodies out of action.
