3. Dexter Lawrence will dominate against a weak Commanders interior offensive line

All season long, Dexter Lawrence has been the best player on the Giants defense, serving as not only the team’s best pass-rusher, but arguably their best run defender. Entering the Giants matchup against the Commanders, his dominance will likely continue against a weaker interior offensive line.

Out of the Commanders guards and center, only one of them has a PFF player grade above a 60, that being guard Trai Turner, who has allowed two sacks and 14 pressures on the season. Combined, the Commanders interior offensive line has allowed seven sacks and have an average pass blocking grade of 51.5.  This seems like the perfect recipe for a Lawrence masterclass, who has 38 combined tackles, six sacks, and 39 total pressures on the season.

Last week, Lawrence racked up five combined tackles, four stops, and two pressures according to PFF – showing that he can still dominate without registering a sack. If not Lawrence, then we’re sure that one of Leonard Williams or Kayvon Thibodeaux will pick up the slack. Especially considering the tremendous performance Thibodeaux is coming off of.

The unprecedented jump that Lawrence has made this season has turned him into one of, if not the best players at his position. If he continues this level of play, not only will he make a Pro Bowl, but an All-Pro team appearance will likely be in his future as well.
