1. NY can’t afford to let more close games slip away

The Giants have exceeded expectations already in 2022, but this team can’t miss the postseason. Not after starting the year 6-1. In their last five games, the G-Men have three losses, one win and one tie. That’s not going to cut it and the offense is the main reason why the G-Men haven’t been able to have more success.

Daboll has to realize that Kafka is costing this team and Big Blue doesn’t have much room for error the rest of the way. This weekend at MetLife Stadium, the Giants host the Eagles. The offense has to be perfect to even keep things close against Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, Miles Sanders, DeVonta Smith and others.

If the Giants, who are big-time underdogs in Week 14, lose to Philly, they’ll then have to try and regroup in Week 15 against the Commanders in Washington. That will feel like a must-win contest for this squad. Depending on how things go against Philly, are people going to have a lot of confidence in Kafka to lead this unit to an impressive showing during Sunday Night Football?

Not at all. From our chair, Daboll should take the reigns and call the plays. He was brilliant doing so in Buffalo. We need him to take care of business to really help Jones, Saquon Barkley and more.
