At times this season, Jones has looked like a franchise quarterback. In other moments, many of the issues that have impacted him in the past have returned. On Sunday night, this can’t happen. He may be the one person who can save this team’s season, and this could lead to a big game for the Giants QB1.

Throughout this season, Jones has put together a solid campaign, even with a lack of consistent help around him. He has thrown for 2,534 yards and 12 touchdowns. On the ground, he has rushed for 548 yards and five touchdowns.

Jones has found success through both the air and the ground, making him a crucial piece to the Giants offense. The last time that he took on the Commanders, he made some of his biggest throws of the season.

While the game ended in a tie, Jones finished the day throwing for 200 yards and one touchdown while adding 71 rushing yards on 12 carries. When looking back at what Jones has done on the year, he has surpassed 300 passing yards just once.

This came against the Detroit Lions in Week 11. He threw for 341 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. He also rushed for 50 yards and one touchdown on seven carries. The Giants offense needs a big contribution from Jones in Week 15.

If he can find success pushing the ball down the field, while also reaching the end zone more than once, this game could be theirs to lose. Look for Jones to step things up for Brian Daboll.
