2. QB Daniel Jones will prove why he deserves a new contract

This has been a very good season for Daniel Jones. While he hasn’t been perfect, we feel as if he has done more than enough to prove that he at least deserves to be the QB for the NY Giants next season.

Jones has played tremendously in recent weeks and has been a big reason for the Giants late playoff push. While he made a crucial mistake during the disappointing loss to the Vikings with his interception, Jones was as close to perfect as can be outside of that.

Entering this week’s matchup against the Colts, Jones will be playing in one of the biggest games of his career, as a win guarantees a Giants playoff berth, the first since 2016 and first of Jones’ young career.

The Colts defense ranks 22nd in passing yards allowed, 21st in passing TDs, and 28th in interceptions. This defense is not one to take lightly, however, it seems as if Jones almost always shows up against whatever defense he is put up against.

It has been a rollercoaster of a ride for Jones throughout the first four seasons of his career. Considering how well he has played despite having little-to-nothing around him, it is hard to hate the young man. Regardless of if he returns or not next season, we know he’ll give whatever team he plays for everything he has.
