Clip of Dexter Lawrence manhandling Quenton Nelson for a sack is amazing to watch
What an incredible year it has been for NY Giants defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence. The man known as ‘Sexy Dexy’ is headed to the Pro Bowl after putting on a show for the G-Men from start to finish in 2022. When at the Pro Bowl, Lawrence will surely run into Colts offensive lineman Quenton Nelson.
While there, Lawrence will have no choice but to remind Nelson of how much he dominated the standout hoss during one play in particular in Week 17. Last Sunday, the Giants destroyed Indianapolis 38-10. In the middle of the action, Nelson tried to prevent Lawrence from getting to Colts quarterback Sam Ehlinger. Sexy Dexy had other plans in mind.

NY Giants DT Dexter Lawrence had his way with Quenton Nelson in Week 17
Nelson didn’t have a prayer in this sequence. Lawrence bullied over him, leaving Ehlinger with no chance to try and throw the ball away. This is the kind of play that we’re getting used to seeing from Lawrence, who is having a career year for Big Blue. Lawrence is looking like one of the best defensive lineman out there, period.
On the campaign, Lawrence has recorded 68 total tackles, 7.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. General manager Joe Schoen is going to have no choice but to give this young man a handsome new contract – he’s earned it.
With the Giants battling so many injuries on both sides of the ball throughout the year, Lawrence had managed to stay healthy and he has been a complete and total beast for defensive coordinator Wink Martindale. With the Eagles next on the schedule for Week 18, we’d expect Lawrence to get a much-deserved day off, as the Giants don’t have anything to play for.
However, this team is already thinking about the Wild Card Round, with the 49ers or Vikings coming up next weekend. Lawrence will be ready to show the world how great he can be once that showdown arrives. As for Nelson, he’s probably going to have nightmares about Lawrence over the next few weeks. That’s how good Sexy Dexy is for this team.
