4. S Julian Love

In his fourth season with the Giants, safety Julian Love played the best football of his career. Love took the field in 16 games in 2022. He finished the season recording 79 solo tackles, 124 total tackles, six tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, five defended passes and two interceptions.

Both cornerback Adoree’ Jackson and safety Xavier McKinney missed significant time last season. But in their place, Love was the consistent force within the group. He performed each week and played well when called upon.

Following a career season, Love could be on his way out. With how he played, he could be due to a big contract somewhere else. At the moment, it appears that he won’t be looking to give the Giants any kind of a discount, as he’s an unrestricted free agent.

The loss of Love in the Giants secondary would be major for the Giants. He has been a consistent force in the room and has quickly become a fan favorite. If the two sides aren’t able to reach a new deal, the Giants will need to address the safety position sometime soon.
