Who knew that even though the Philadelphia Eagles are getting ready to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl, several players are more focused about comments NY Giants star safety Julian Love has made on Nick Sirianni. In case you missed it, Love said that Sirianni is basically on a ‘free ride’ as head man of the birds.

A lot of people in the City of Brotherly Love have taken exception with that take, and the list includes Eagles standout Brandon Graham. The star defensive end backed his head coach and took a bit of a job of his own at the Giants DB.

Julian Love is creating quite the stir with his Nick Sirianni comments

Sheesh, Graham looks a bit annoyed at what Love had to say about his coach, but hey, a lot of people are agreeing with him in this case. Love has seen his Twitter mentions blow up and we don’t have to tell you that Eagles fans are ripping him left and right. They’re coming to the defense of Sirianni like there’s no tomorrow.

Don’t think for a second, though, that Love is going to back down from his comments. He took to Twitter to let Philly nation know that he’s sticking to his guns and he believes the Eagles are Super Bowl-pound because of the playmakers in the locker room, and not because of the job Sirianni and his staff have performed with the squad.

Love is out of contract with the Giants and set to hit free agency, but the epic jacket he’s wearing in the clip above sure tells you that he wants to return to play under Brian Daboll and Wink Martindale next season.

It’s unknown if that will happen, as Love may want too much with his next deal and Martindale could end up taking the Colts job. However, if Love does make his way back to East Rutherford, then there’s no question the next two matchups with the Eagles will surely be quite interesting.

Eagles fans will be ready to bash him all game long when the Giants make their way to Lincoln Financial Field.
