Giants LB Jihad Ward trolls Tom Brady with NSFW tweet he’s not going to like
Unfortunately for New England Patriots fans, Feb. 3 is always going to be a day they hate, but the same can’t be said for the NY Giants faithful. On that day in 2008, Eli Manning and Co. shocked the Patriots and ruined their perfect season.
That’s a tough pill to swallow for Tom Brady. Now, Giants pass-rusher Jihad Ward has handed TB12 another Feb. 3 defeat. Earlier in the week, Titans lineman Taylor Lewan brought up the idea of potentially having every team retire the No. 12 in honor of Brady.
Sure, the GOAT deserves all the love he’s getting following his retirement, but there’s no way this idea from Lewan should move forward. Ward shot down said idea on Twitter, doing so in NSFW fashion.
NY Giants LB took over social media with his Tom Brady tweet
Goodness, Ward didn’t hold back with his thoughts. Ward is personable, no doubt about that, and no one has forgotten about him delivering a double middle finger in the regular-season finale at Lincoln Financial Field against the Eagles. If you follow Ward on Twitter or Instagram, you know he’s no stranger to firing up hilarious posts.
His tweet on Brady reached a new level, but a lot of Giants fans are loving it, while other Brady haters out there are enjoying a good laugh as well. With all of that said, we can’t help but also give Brady some respect here.
Now that he ‘for good’ has decided to hang up his cleats, he does so with seven Super Bowl rings, three NFL MVPs and so many more accolades to his name. He’ll be able to enjoy retirement knowing that he’s considered the best football player of all time.
For Big Blue nation, they’ll remember Brady more for his failures, as the two Super Bowl wins for the Giants vs. Brady and the Patriots are unforgettable. As for Ward, he’s surely a fan of Brady, but heck, he might change his number to 12 next season just to troll the future Hall of Famer even more.
