Don’t you dare think about making this move, Julian Love. Do you really want to be in a city where it rains for eight months out of the year? Come on, dude. That’s what will end up happening for Love if he ends up making the move from the NY Giants over to the Pacific Northwest, which Giants fans don’t want to see.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the standout Big Blue safety is scheduled to visit with the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday. Pete Carroll and John Schneider are trying to take Love away from Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen. Could Love end up donning a different blue jersey next fall?

There’s no way to sugarcoat things: losing Love would be a big blow for the G-Men and defensive coordinator Wink Martindale. However, general manager Joe Schoen is also probably not going to be able to pay Love top dollar this offseason, as he’s looking to get paid. The Seahawks and Schneider may be able to do that for him.

Love is coming off a fantastic 2022 campaign for the Giants, as he posted 124 total tackles, two interceptions and five pass deflections. His incredible interception off of Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson helped set up the upset win over Baltimore early on during the campaign. That’s the kind of playmaker Love is.

That INT from Love set off an explosion of celebrations at MetLife Stadium. He’s been such a great member of the organization both on and off the field, which is why the thought of him suiting up for the Seahawks stings quite a bit.

Love arrived to the Giants in 2019, starting 32 regular season games ever since. He played a massive role in the team getting back to the postseason this past campaign as well. While a lot of Big Blue supporters are hoping he’ll be back for another go in 2023, it looks like fans may need to start getting used to him suiting up for a different team.
