1. LB Darrian Beavers

While it may be crazy to expect a ton out of a sixth-round pick who has yet to see the field in the regular season, we are very confident that Beavers could be a quality player for the Giants heading into next season.

Beavers may not have been on the field very long for the G-Men, appearing in only two preseason games before he tore his ACL, but what he showed during this time had fans incredibly excited about what he could bring to the table.

In these games, Beavers showed an ability to diagnose plays both against the run, and in coverage, something Tae Crowder and Jaylon Smith consistently failed to do. Honestly, it seemed like Beavers had a real shot to start Week 1, however, as we all know, that never happened.

This season, Beavers is yet again faced with a real chance to be an impact player. He’s got a mountain to climb, though, as he is coming off his serious knee injury and it’s going to take time for him to get back to full speed.

However, this youngster is surely a guy for fans to keep an eye on. He has a tremendous amount of potential and could see significant playing time for defensive coordinator Wink Martindale.
