The days of Odell Beckham Jr. making unreal plays at MetLife Stadium may not be over after all. Few people have forgotten about OBJ being one of the most electric players the NY Giants have ever featured, as he was a human highlight reel. Come next season, it’s looking like a return to East Rutherford could be in the cards.

That’s the good news. However, the bad news is that it won’t be with the G-Men. Per multiple reports, the buzz continues to grow that Odell may end up with the NY Jets. With it expected that Aaron Rodgers will be the new quarterback for Gang Green, he could end up being the next signal-caller to throw dimes to OBJ.

The Jets reportedly continue to show interest in Odell Beckham Jr.

For a lot of Big Blue supporters, this wouldn’t be great to see at all. Earlier in the offseason, there was hope that general manager Joe Schoen would work a reunion with the speedster, especially after Beckham told Saquon Barkley to have the GM call his agent. That got a lot of fans excited about a potential reunion.

Now, though, it has been reported that Rodgers has his eyes on Beckham playing with him for the Jets. Even though Rodgers’ move to the Jets hasn’t been finalized, he’s already trying to recruit for head coach Robert Saleh and the NYJ offense.

Yeah, we don’t like that one bit and it’s another reason to not like AR12. Soon enough, we’ll find out where Beckham will be playing next, but the Jets feel like the team to beat to land his services.

More Giants news

• The Giants hosted linebacker Justin Hollins for a visit on Wednesday and there was hope that a team-friendly deal would be able to get done. That won’t be happening, as Hollins re-signed with the Packers shortly after his trip to East Rutherford.

• New Giants defensive back Bobby McClain was introduced at the team facility on Thursday and confirmed that he’ll be playing safety for the G-Men. McClain had plenty of great things to say about the organization, including defensive coordinator Wink Martindale.

• After having dinner with Ohio State wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba earlier in the week, Joe Schoen will dine with Boston College WR Zay Flowers on Thursday night as well. Both WRs have been linked as potential first-round picks for NY, as the squad needs a WR1 for the future.
