1. Saquon Barkley

Yes, this is controversial and we hope you're not furious with us, but Saquon Barkley is a major person to blame for the New York loss - unfortunately, he looked electric with the ball in his hands. Barkley opened up the scoring with a touchdown run and he broke free for some big-time runs as well for the Eagles.

Barkley had to have revenge on his mind. He wanted to go out and prove to Joe Schoen that he made a mistake in not giving him the kind of contract he was looking for. Schoen was always going to prioritize other positions in free agency, which is why he told Barkley to go out and find his best deal and then come back to him to see if NY would match things.

The Giants decided to pass on paying him, which opened the door for the Eagles to get him to town. Against the Giants, in his first game at MetLife Stadium as a visitor, Barkley rushed for 176 yards and a touchdown. He led the way on offense for Philly, ruining the day for Giants fans in the stands. He wanted to prove a point against his old team and he sure did that.
