We are in the thick of the NFL offseason, with no man's land standing between the end of last season and the start of the next one. Training camp is still months away, but there is plenty to talk about and discuss.

Especially with this New York Giants team, which could be the biggest surprise in 2026. For the first time in a long time, it seems like there is some kind of comfort and security about this team.

There doesn't seem to be as much of a feeling of panic with this franchise following the offseason moves already made. Speaking of panic, Bleacher Report's Alex Ballentyne recently released a comprehensive and insightful list of all 32 NFL teams and how much panic their beloved fans should be in for their quarterbacks.

For the G-Men, and more specifically Jaxson Dart, it was 100% true and accurate. Let's talk about it.

Giants' Dart score on Bleacher Report list is 100% accurate

Some teams, like the Kyler Murray-less Arizona Cardinals, got a score of an 8 on the panic scale, along with the Cleveland Browns and the circus that is Shedeur Sanders. But for Big Blue, it was a much quieter and pleasant 2, and that should make fans feel good about the direction that this team is going in.

With just Dart and Jameis Winston as a part of the QB room right now, that will change before long. It could happen with the draft, or someone that might be a fourth-string, or practice squad, might jump at the chance to be a third-string QB.

Looking at that number, a score of 2 is definitely the right feel for this Giants team. Dart was a stud last season, with 2242 passing yards, 15 passing touchdowns, and nine rushing touchdowns. He was the Giants' offense, all the way through.

Now, he has a returning Cam Skatteboo and Malik Nabers, the arrival of Darnell Mooney, and a whole offseason to correct whatever wrongs he might have had in 2025. Trust me, there weren't many to be seen.

With John Harbaugh as his new head coach, there is very little doubt that these two are going to get along just fine. Sure, Dart is not any bit close to the kind of superstar that Lamar Jackson is, at least not yet. But, there is something to be said for the potential that No. 6 shows on the field, and the Giants faithful are eating it up.

In Dart, we trust.
