If the New York Giants haven’t hit rock bottom, then it’s hard to believe there even is one. Sitting at 2-6 and coming off two of the most embarrassing losses in franchise history, it’s becoming impossible to sit through much more of this nightmare.

Their terrible start — 2-6 for the third year in a row — has firmly placed general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll under the microscope. But the funny thing is, you don’t even need to look all that closely to see that change is necessary.
And Giants fans have had enough. Via Connor Hughes, a plane was spotted flying over MetLife Stadium on Sunday morning ahead of their Week 9 matchup with the San Francisco 49ers — with a clear message for owner John Mara: Fire everyone:

This was a second banner of the day, following one wishing for better health for Mara as he battles cancer. A bit more scathing and pointed for sure.
Giants fans go airborne with “Clean House” banner before 49ers game
Big Blue has become synonymous with these types of banners. Just last year, fans flew two different messages over stadiums when frustration boiled over during another lost season.
The first read, “MR. MARA ENOUGH – PLZ FIX THIS DUMPSTER FIRE,” ahead of their matchup with the New Orleans Saints — a game they lost 14-11. The fans savagely doubled down the following week.
Before kickoff against the Baltimore Ravens, another plane circled the sky with a now-infamous follow-up: “Mr. Mara enough – We won’t stop until you fire everyone.”
The message is the same today: Giants fans are tired of paying, watching, and supporting a team that gives them nothing in return. Same year, same result. Under the Daboll-Schoen regime, New York is 20-38-1, with a single playoff appearance in their first year. Since then, it’s only gone downhill, which might be selling what's been happening short by a mile or a hundred.
Yes, there’s genuine excitement around rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart. He’s the future, and every decision should revolve around supporting his development.
At what point does Mara's doing the same thing and expecting a different result plan fall flat on its face? Most would argue it already has. A Week 9 loss to the Niners might finally get ownership to take a look up and make an appropriate change.
