This offseason is poised to be a pivotal one for the New York Giants.

While it will start with the franchise hiring a new head coach who will hopefully help turn things around, results are needed from this Giants team in 2026 after a combined seven wins over the last two seasons. That lack of wins could also mean a major roster shakeup, with current players' job security not a for-sure thing heading into the offseason.

Even though we can certainly say goodbye to players like Russell Wilson and, of course, Evan Neal, is this once-promising lineman for Big Blue also on his way out the door?

The Giants are being urged not to re-sign OL Joshua Ezeudu this offseason

In an article for GiantsWire, John Fennelly named offensive lineman Joshua Ezeudu as an impending free agent for New York to not re-sign this offseason.

"Ezeudu was a third-round pick in 2022 (67th overall) and has been injured in three of his four seasons with Big Blue," Fennelly wrote. "He played in 33 games, starting 10, but did not play a snap in 2025. Out of sight, out of mind. They will allow him to hit free agency and wish him the best."

As Fennelly alluded, injuries have plagued Ezeudu during his four years with the Giants. Despite playing in 10 games during his rookie season in 2022, the now 26-year-old has played in a combined 23 games since, as constant injuries have plagued him, resulting in him not playing a single snap in 2025.

After seeing the Giants' offensive line perform much better this season without Ezeudu, along with the aforementioned Neal (who isn't expected to return either), it makes the most sense for the G-Men to move on from him and keep the same o-line that rookie phenom Jaxson Dart is very familiar with.
