Who the New York Giants will hire to fill their head coaching vacancy is anyone’s guess. Even though the class is considered relatively weak, there’s still a long list of intriguing names that general manager Joe Schoen and Co. are expected to explore in their search for the right fit.

It's been well-documented that the G-Men are looking for a "CEO-type leader" who can create stability, hold the players and coaches accountable, develop talent, and establish a winning culture. However, rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart added a few new qualifications to the criteria, and Schoen would be wise to hear him out.

When February rolls around, Dart hopes to see a head coach standing across from him who brings the same intensity and winning desire he does, which would be a refreshing change of pace for anyone who has been rooting for this team over the past decade.

Jaxson Dart just told Joe Schoen exactly what he wants in Giants' next HC

On Monday, the 22-year-old was asked if he felt like he could work with any head coach, and his response was perfect:

“Yeah, I do. I definitely feel like there’s a relationship standpoint from the QB to head coach thing that you want, and I feel like that will help me play better on the field as well. So, I definitely want someone who can match my intensity, and I can match theirs, and have the same vision and outlook of how we want things to be done and to win at the highest level.”

I'm hearing a lot of buzzwords I like -- intensity, vision, winning at the highest level. I mean, say less, Dart Vader.

But seriously, is that too much to ask for? This team is closer to competing than their record would suggest, and they're the best at throwing around the narrative, "we're just a coach away." Well, now it's time to prove it by hiring the right guy, and their standout rookie QB just made the search so much easier.

Schoen finally has a quarterback worth building around. It would be such a disservice to waste it by hiring the wrong guy. No one's saying Dart should get full control over the hiring process, but working with him a little bit could be the difference between another four-win season and a magical playoff run.

Regardless, his blueprint just made it nearly impossible for Schoen to screw this up. You'd think.
