Despite another dismal season for the New York Football Giants, the team has its franchise quarterback in Jaxson Dart.
While New York may have garnered just a 4-13 record during the 2025 campaign (a one-game improvement from a season ago), Dart showed why the Giants made the right choice to trade up and draft the former Ole Miss Rebel with the 25th overall pick.
In 12 games started, Dart passed for 2,272 yards with 15 touchdowns to just five interceptions. Even though the 22-year-old showed his aggressiveness on the ground, resulting in him being checked for concussion five times in 10 games, as well as missing two games because of a concussion, this kid looks to be the real deal.
And with Big Blue once again sitting at home watching the playoffs, fans at least should be optimistic heading into the 2026 season because of these comments by the young gunslinger:
Jaxson Dart's offseason plans will fire up fans
During an exclusive interview with Madelyn Burke, Dart was asked about his offseason plans and if he expects to get the offense together.
"Those have definitely been conversations that we've been having, just trying to make sure that we formulate a good plan around everybody's schedule to get together," Dart said. "This offseason is extremely important for us.
There's a lot of uncertainty with what's gonna happen, the certainty that we do have is the people that are coming back. We gotta make sure that we create the strongest culture and relationships that we can going into this next year."

Giants fans should be ecstatic hearing these comments from their young quarterback after what was truly another forgettable season marred by multiple games blowing double-digit leads, as well as questionable play-calling.
Dart now looks to have put his encouraging, rocking rookie season behind him and hopefully take a massive step in his sophomore season.
If Jaxson Dart can take that huge step and have a healthy Malik Nabers, Cam Skattebo, as well as the same offensive pieces he was around this past season, a massive turnaround for the New York Giants in 2026 is definitely on the table. Especially with the young quarterback's plans to get his teammates together this offseason.
