For those of you who went to school looking to pursue a career in lip-reading, oh, do I have the perfect job opportunity for you.

As the New York Giants dive headfirst into their head coaching search, names are popping up left and right, but recently, two names have risen above the rest. That would be John Harbaugh and Kevin Stefanski.

The G-Men have already had Stefanski in for his interview, which reportedly went "very well." Meanwhile, Harbs has pushed his interviewing calendar a week back as he takes some time to mull over what his future looks like. Well, it's anyone's guess what the Giants' future looks like. Unless you're Jaxson Dart.

During Thursday night's Fiesta Bowl, cameras caught the 22-year-old potentially talking about who he thinks Big Blue will hire.

Cue the lip-reading! You can see in the video below that it looks like you can make out "Harbaugh" and "Stefanski," confirming what Giants fans have begun to assume, that it's a two-horse race:

Cameras may have caught Jaxson Dart naming next Giants head coach

Not only is that objectively awesome -- they're likely the two best candidates, but it's always hilarious when fans get hot-mic(ish) like this. We live in the digital age, where cameras are everywhere. He doesn't even look around to see if he's got eyes on him before rattling off the names.

Silly stuff happens around this franchise. Last year, general manager Joe Schoen’s son leaked Dart’s highlight tape on Instagram before the draft. Maybe this is just Round 2. It worked out last time.

Giants fans already know how Dart feels about Stefanski. He met with the 43-year-old head coach during the 2025 Draft process. The Ole Miss standout told reporters on Monday that he enjoyed his visit and that he thinks Stefanski is a really good coach.

That's important. It's unclear how much say the second-year quarterback has in the hiring process, but what we do know is the type of coach he's looking for. In his end-of-season media tour, he also mentioned that he wants the next HC to have the same intensity as him and to win at the highest level.

The 25th overall pick hasn't publicly stated anything about Harbs, but his 18-year tenure in Baltimore speaks for itself. Once the Ravens fired him, he immediately became the frontrunner for a lot of teams, including the Giants.

Either candidate would be a strong choice for the G-Men moving forward. Let's just hope the amateur lip-reading doesn't set us up for failure. Get excited... but keep it controlled for now.
