New York Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart was enjoying arguably the best performance of his promising young career in Week 10 before suffering a concussion. He scored both of the team's touchdowns in their 24-20 loss to the Chicago Bears -- on the ground.
Dart's legs remained a factor for the Giants in Chicago. So much so that head coach Brian Daboll can't help but repeatedly put him in harm's way, though that's neither here nor there. The 2025 first-round pick accomplished a remarkable feat with his efforts against the Bears.

Giants rookie QB Jaxson Dart makes NFL history before leaving Bears game with concussion
Here's a complete list of passers in NFL history with rushing touchdowns in five consecutive games: Jaxson Dart (h/t the Giants' official X account). End of list.
Amazingly, Dart is the only signal-caller ever to find pay dirt as a runner in a quintet of contests in a row. This is especially impressive/surprising considering we're in a golden era of mobile signal-callers in which that skill set is more common than not.
Whether it be Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, Cam Newton, Michael Vick or someone else, there have been so many dynamic dual-threats. Yet, Dart stands alone in the league's profound archives; it's a testament to his electrifying attributes and sheer relentlessness.
It's wild to think no one set this record until Dart scampered into the end zone twice versus the Bears. Nevertheless, he continues to defy the odds and overcome a less-than-ideal environment in New York, to say the least. The 22-year-old is willing to put his body at risk (perhaps too much) and maximize the physical traits that made him a Day 1 selection.
However, as we've seen, Dart's ability to operate as a ball-carrier can be a double-edged sword. He's proven fit to be the Giants' clear-cut offensive focal point in more ways than one. But the G-Men must find a way to balance his talent and aggressiveness with protecting him.
Before leaving the match in Chicago, Dart completed 19 of 29 passes for 242 scoreless yards with his arm. He also yielded 66 yards and the aforementioned pair of scores on six attempts as a rusher. It could've been an even bigger showing if his day wasn't cut short by injury.
