With the Eagles heading to town on Sunday, the NY Giants are hoping to get back on the right track in this big-time showdown with an NFC East rival. While Andrew Thomas is out for the season with a serious foot injury, the good news is that Malik Nabers is going to be suited up.

After missing back-to-back games with a concussion, Nabers was cleared by team doctors. However, plenty of concern popped up when it was reported that he was dealing with a groin injury too. Would it be enough to keep him out of action?

Not a chance. Nabers calmed plenty of people when he revealed that he's doing just fine with the groin injury and he's fired up to take on the Eagles. After missing the contests vs. Seattle and Cincy, Nabers is excited to remind people of how electric he can be with the ball in his hands.

Malik Nabers is ready to rock for the NY Giants showdown with Philly

Prior to going down with his head injury, Nabers led the NFL in receptions and he was proving why it was a brilliant decision to use a No. 6 overall pick on him. The former LSU standout looked unreal catching the ball from Daniel Jones.

Now, more of the same is going to be needed with the G-Men once again looking to save their season. Following the disappointing loss to the Bengals in primetime, Brian Daboll and Co. are a lowly 2-4 on the campaign - not what anyone was hoping for after six games.

With a loss to Nick Sirianni's men at MetLife, the G-Men would fall to 2-5 and then next up is a tough road contest at Pittsburgh for Monday Night Football. This team is desperate for a win. Thankfully, Nabers will be in uniform, excited to make a difference for this offense. Jones will look his way early and often against the Philly defense, as No. 1 will be looking to pick up right where he left off.
