Malik Nabers and Jaxson Dart only got to play with one another for a few drives this season before Nabers tore his ACL, but they're still the future of this New York Giants' offense. Before his injury, their rapport was turning heads, but now Giants fans have to wait until 2026 to see the duo shine together.
As long as both stars (and Cam Skattebo) stay healthy, the G-Men have an offensive nucleus that should intrigue any rational head coaching candidate, but Dart has some doubters. However, the 22-year-old WR made it clear he's excited about his QB's development and the fact their rapport will only grow next season.
Malik Nabers says he and Jaxson Dart mesh well together:

It's unfortunate that he had to clarify this to begin with, because there have been far too many rumors Dart trade rumors surfacing across these last few weeks. Fortunately, Joe Schoen has absolutely no reason to trade his QB1, especially since the G-Men don't pick in range to draft Fernando Mendoza.
Contrary to popular belief, Malik Nabers wants Jaxson Dart back in New York next season
The superstar wideout was originally expected to be ready for Week 1 of next season, but Nabers knows better than to rush a return to the gridiron like Odell Beckham Jr. did. The LSU product showed up to Sunday's game with a cane, but when dealing with injuries, it's often better to be safe than sorry.
The 2024 first-round pick was off to another sensational start to the 2025 season before getting hurt, and that was while catching passes from an aging Russell Wilson. So when you take that into account for next season, there's no reason for him and Dart to not take the league by storm in 2026.
Let's be completely honest here, Dart was never getting traded, and there is no reason for Schoen or upper management to ever part with their franchise quarterback after one season. They would never net a first-round pick in return, and this is the same player Schoen risked his job to bring to New York.
The Ole Miss product has enjoyed an impressive rookie year despite the turmoil surrounding him, and Nabers seems to be well aware of that fact. Mainly throwing to Wan'Dale Robinson and Theo Johnson while being an Offensive Rookie of the Year favorite is no small feat, especially on a bad Giants' team.
Their rapport hasn't even been fully fleshed out yet, and who knows if Nabers will even be healthy enough for that chemistry to truly develop this offseason. So far, the fanbase seems to agree, as expectations are high for the duo that's expected to return Giants' football to prominence.
Here's hoping the new coaching staff knows what they have in this duo.
