Malik Nabers and the New York Giants had to sit through an NFC Championship game between two of their hated rivals in the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders. Now, Philly is the only team who can stop Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs from winning their third championship in a row and their fourth in six years.

Giants fans who aren't big on dynasties being formed are going to be in for a major disappointment either way. If the Chiefs finish off their three-peat, they will once again end the NFL season on top of the proverbial world. If the Eagles win, every Giants fan will be tortured on social media for the next 12 months.

Nabers, like many fans who want to see some new blood take home a ring, can't bring himself to imagine either a fourth Mahomes title or Jalen Hurts lifting a Lombardi Trophy. Many Giants fans likely share the same opinion as their rookie sensation and future All-Pro.

In an exclusive interview with FanSided and Stacking The Box on behalf of Pepsi, Nabers revealed he isn't too keen on the Super Bowl, saying that he would be perfectly happy if both teams lose. Christian McCaffery offered a similar sentiment the last time these two teams ended up locking horns in the Super Bowl.

Giants fans will have to root for the Chiefs, even if the novelty of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce has worn off. The mental damage an Eagles Super Bowl led by Saquon Barkley in the immediate aftermath of what has become one of the all-time free agency blunders would be difficult for Nabers and Giants fans to stomach.

While the Eagles may have the better roster from top to bottom, the Chiefs are considered the favorites by many due to the clear advantage they had at quarterback. Still, Saquon Barkley is a problem no team has been able to conclusively solve this season.

It may be a while before Nabers and his Giants can join the Chiefs and Eagles in this hallowed tier. With no starting quarterback plan, a questionable coaching staff, and a roster that is not good enough to make it to the postseason right now, Nabers may need to wait a bit before he gets his shot at a ring.

Nabers and the Giants can pine for the days when Big Blue is back in this hallowed sphere, but they will need to suck up this brutal Super Bowl Sunday in the interim.
