The 2025 New York Giants may have a different type of swagger to them that we haven't seen before. Yes, this is the same team that only won three games last year, but they added talent that should boost their confidence and hopefully result in more wins this upcoming season.
It starts at the top with veteran quarterback Russell Wilson, who comes over from the Steelers after just one year in Pittsburgh and already has Big Blue fans excited about what is to come this year, based on what we've seen in training camp.

Football fans are already familiar with Russ from his playing days with the Seahawks, where he etched his name in NFL history, winning a Super Bowl in 2013. He won that Lombardi Trophy at the same stadium he'll now call home most Sundays, and we couldn't be happier about it.
Russell Wilson has already etched out a Hall of Fame career for himself
Bryan DeArdo of CBS Sports recently named every NFL team's most likely future Hall of Famer, and to no one's surprise, Mr. Unlimited was named as the player for the Giants.
Wilson is named on this list, among several other current players, who could eventually be considered for the Hall of Fame, such as Aaron Rodgers, Mike Evans, and Derrick Henry.
Every player on DeArdo's list is not necessarily a guaranteed lock to make the Hall; however, you can make a case for all 32 players who were listed, including Russ, who could likely see his name in Canton, Ohio someday.
Wilson is a 10-time Pro Bowler, Super Bowl Champion, and was named to the second-team All-Pro in 2019. Wilson has 46,135 passing yards and 350 touchdowns since joining the league in 2012. He also has 121 wins in 199 games played.
In the playoffs, the 36-year-old is 9-8 with 4,056 passing yards and 27 touchdowns. While he did make the playoffs last year with the Steelers, most of Wilson's memorable playoff moments came from when he was a member of the Seahawks for several years.
Not only did Russ win a Super Bowl at MetLife Stadium with Seattle, but when he joined the Giants this offseason, Jameis Winston told the media that he chose the same locker he had from that game as good luck. He said that speaks to who Wilson is as a quarterback and as a person, and called it motivating because he wants to win.
The reason the article does not name him as a current Hall of Fame lock, but close, is because he has not been the most consistent since 2020, when he was with the Broncos and most recently with the Steelers; however, based on his numbers and achievements alone in Seattle, he will likely make it in the future.
As long as Wilson's impressive career carries over to the Giants, there's no doubt he'll see his name in Canton, Ohio, someday, and hopefully, Big Blue fans will have something to smile about in 2025.
